There is a GTG happening in the VIC high country in 2014 when will this be on and will it be like the NSW wales one with a base then day trips or like the SA one moving from spot to spot

There is also mentioned of a Cape York trip in 2014 is this a new location for the prado point GTG or is this a seperate trip

    Thanks

    Stop windering.....

No 2013 GTG, the Mexicans needed more time to get the shite together and maintain the siesta routine.

There is a Cape trip in latter 2013 although lost the thread. There are other trips also.

    Might go winder now.

No GTG for 2013 but we could easily turn the Simpson trip into one . MLC dont know if we are maintaining a siesta routine . The thread for the 2014 GTG we are waiting for admin to put it up it will be around Easter .
As for leave i need more leave also but think i have my days sorted out for Simpson trip 2013 , GTG2014 high country and then Cape york 2014, should turn that into a GTG also seems to be a bit a interest in that trip . Looks like 2014 will be a busy year for big trips .
GTG 2014 should only be moving once .

I am sure the Vic guys will post details when they have them but their trip (GTG 2014) will be in April.

The Simpson trip this year and the cape trip next year are just a slightly bigger version of any other PP trip.

Just to confuse you, VKPrado is planning on having the 2015 GTG in Tasmania!

Yes we all need more holidays

        Cheers Andrew

OK so atm my life plan is like this
Finish contract work in WA at the end of December
Tour this great land for 3 months
Attend the 2014 PP GTG in VIC
            Find a job
Work for 3 months then tell my new boss that i need a month off for the cape in 2014
Actually do some work for a year
            Go to tasmania in 2015
Man this is exhausting i may have to win powerball

I negotiated 26weeks a year annual leave. That was almost 4 years ago, it's working well so far.
Less $$$ to spend that's all, lucky camping is cheap, I've also noticed a pattern of less Greek restaurants & more baked beans.

Good luck with both of those mission statements (wish lists).

Greek food and baked beans give me the same 'end' result but I love them both!!!

I'm definitely up for the Simpson this year but I don't know if I can get enough leave (or money) to do both the gtg and cape trip next year. Might have to be one or the other. I'm definitely keen for a 2015 gtg in tassie though.

You're not kidding. Now I know the gtg is around Easter though, I'll probably choose that one. Then I'll have a couple of months after it to convince myself that its worth using up the long service leave and the last of the credit card balance to go to the cape too!

Just for those who want to know. The Tassie GTG might just be later on in the year around September (subject to negotiations or change) to allow enough saving time from the Victoria 2014 GTG.
