    Hi guys

I would love to call in and mingle for a chat but i live 1,456km away and that translates to a good 15 hours of driving and i guess if i was to do all that driving i wouldn't be that sociable anyway for being so tired and hungry!!! Lol... It would also turn out to be a very expensive meal for me given the fuel I'd use to get there and back home?

I do think that the additional idea was a good one though!

    Cheers

      Hi Andrew

I'll be in it if it's at the HOLDFAST. I live not far away. And I have a leave pass owing!

      Be good to catch up.

Skywalker, plane flights are pretty cheap nowadays

OK Nick, lets make it at the Holdfast Hotel on Brighton Rd at say 6.30. Looks like we will have a quorum and we might get a few late comers, especially if Skywalker can organize a cheap flight!

Will we need to book for their or just rock up? i can probably track down a phone number and book tomorrow anyway.

        Cheers Andrew

Lea and I are in. THAT'S RIGHT, Lea will be attending and because its a boys night she will cuss like a trooper. Holdfast sounds ok to me.

Dodgey is a definite but won't arrive till 7pm and Matt is a no as he is flying out the next day.

            Wow!!

I just checked flights for the hell of it to Adelaide from Sydney and i "could" get to Adelaide return for $265 bucks

But i cant make it as i also would be flying out the very next day!.. Probably the same time as Matt!... Lol.... Who's Matt?

            There! (Virgin) 10-06-13 $117 Dep:6:45am Sydney Arr:8:30am Adelaide. = 1.45min

            Home! (JetStar) 11-06-13 $148 Dep:7:20pm Adelaide Arr:9:40pm Sydney. = 2.20min

So that would be a total of 4-hrs return Flight time! (Not including getting too and from airport).

"Now!".... to drive there (Adelaide) and back home would take approx 30hrs (2,912km) @ Approx 8Ltr per hundred round trip! (Door to Door!.. Speeding fines/Roo hits & Chipped windscreen not included!) which would be approx 360Ltr of Diesel @ ($1.44.9) and approx 48Ltr of LPG @ ($0.65.9) @ current prices at a total of $553.27c!

Now that's not including the fact that if i was to get my windscreen "Chipped" then that would obviously improve my fuel consumption and give me about 30% more power!... LMAO!!

Wish i could get there as sounds like i'd have a hoot of a time!

            Cheers

Good to see a few new faces last night, thanks to those who made it. Might have to do it again sometime, maybe with a bit more notice.

                  Cheers Andrew
