    SEQ - Daytrip to Janowen Hills 4WD Park -Sunday 25th of August

    Well its been too long since our last gathering, so this Sunday I am doing a day trip to Janowen Hills 4wd Park. Be great to meet some new faces and catch up with some of the regulars. The park is about 2 hours from Brisbane CBD and has a mix of all different types of tracks.

    Date: Sunday 25th of August
    UHF: Channel 16
    Time: Leave Brisbane at 6.45-7am. For arrival about 9.00am. Suggest we meet there.
    Location: Janowen Hills 4wd Park
    1953 Inverramsay Road, Goomburra Qld 4362
    Phone: (07) 4666 6207 if lost
    Cost: The park charges $25 (per vehicle) for the day to use their park. Take cash as there is no EFTPOS
    Weather: Looks like another warm sunny winters day in paradise. If the weather dramatically changes we will re-assess. (don’t remind me about my CityView predictions)

    Details: The plan is to spend the morning exploring their tracks, then a nice relaxed lunch (BYO food, drink and water). Then an afternoon back on the tracks. The tracks have everything from mild to extreme, so there is something for everybody there. I imagine we would finish up around 4.30pm or so and be back in Brisbane around 6.30pm

            Ahhh damn it!

            Would have been in for sure but heading to Gloucester this weekend to get drawers fitted up at Drifta.

                Just mentioned this to the better half, I think I just got condional approval based on all my house duties however I will still require unconditional approval on Saturday afternoon pending all conditions being met...

                  Unfortunately not this time, it's our youngest's birthday party.
                  But certainly keen at some point in the future.

                    We start on our Cape trip this Sunday so its a no for us.

                      Update:
                      I spoke to Jan@Janowen today on the status of the tracks. They are drying out nicely from the recent rain and are in good condition.
