    Fraser Island 2013

    Not that I am excited or anything, Fraser Island tomorrow we go! No camping this time round, villa at Kingfisher. Looking forward to a few nights on the island and some much needed beach driving, swimming, exploring etc.

    Anyone else over there between the 27th and 31st?

        Richo, Stewy and Matt (LFaR) are over there camping between Boxing Day and ny I think.

                  Cant believe i saw you today in kingfisher. Was lovely to meet you.we should of taken a pic together lol. I just got back from eli creek. Was awesome very nice 150 by the way. All the best.... Minh.

                    Hey Minh, great to meet you as well, shame you guys are heading home. You beat me to the spot, trying to edit your number plate out on the iPhone is not an easy task. Hope you and your family had a great trip away.

                    Robert saw that in the news today, poor bugger.

                    Also caught up with Richo and Stewy today up at Waddy Point. Got some great GoPro video of Indian head crossing, the tracks are every very soft over here, no rain for quite a bit of time.

                      Im definately coming back. Living the dream while we are here. Just had our last dinner at the sand bar. All the best for the rest of your stay.next time I come back should be in a d4d of some kind...

                        More bad news I am afraid. Just heard that three people have been badly burnt after a gas fridge exploded at orchid beach on Fraser Island. Rescue Chopper has been flown out there.

                          Robert the storm of all storms hit last night, one big light show with plenty of noise, it rained solid for over an hour!

                          Just read about the poor guys at orchid beach, not good.

                          Tracks should be great out today with the rain we had overnight, different looking day however.

                            Bet the family is glad you had a villa at Kingfisher then Dan!.
                            I have a feeling Richo and Stewy may have got a bit wet beach camping.

                              Hi All

                              Made a quick video up of the Indian head crossing and a few other hot spots / points when I remembered to turn on the GoPro. I did forgot to tighten part of the mount but so it does go on a slight angle on a couple of points and has a little wobble, sorry but you will get the idea. The video will only work on desktop computers, no go on iDevices sorry.
