OK, So here's the details:

Where to - Mundaring Powerline Track

When - 6th July

Meeting - Peak Servo Left hand side Gt Eastern Hwy Sawyers Valley (only servo there)

Time - 9.00 depart 9.30am

Bring - Yourself, your sense of humour, and/or anybody game to ride with you. I'm going to bring a cool drink/water and cook up a couple of snaggers.

Yep, sounds like a plan at the moment unless something else crops up, did the power lines once before at night with the Nissan patrol club. Bit of a haul from Baldivis, but would prefer to do it with others in case the recent rain has made it ugly, not a big fan of the hardcore stuff.

Kev powerline is a good intro track as there is always three choices through the creek crossings, the easy the medium and the more challenging path.

I've only been there once. Not long after we got our Prado. We were by ourselves so mostly went the chicken tracks. Got better tyres and lifted now so will be interesting to see how it handles.

Thanks Don,
I heard it has been graded recently as well, was pretty rough when I took the Patrol through a few years back now, especially being night, so will be good to see it during the day.
Pretty confident with the ST Maxx's and traction control, but without a winch always handy to have someone with you to assist.

OK, so correct me if I've missed anyone. So far we have;

BlakM, Kev, Smurf, Brooksy and myself coming. Awesome. Five vehicles.

Don't think I've ever seen more than three Prado's side by side. Will be great to see.

Just had a thought, if anyone has not fitted a 2 way radio yet, might be an idea to go and purchase a cheap portable. (it will keep you in the loop as to whats being said) I think you can pick them up for about $50 and when you do get a base fitted the portable will always come in handy later or be sold.

Yep I've got the gme6150 handheld ATM. I'll also bring a couple of gas cooktops to use at lunch
