Next on our list was to do the Munja Track from Mt Elizabeth Station, we got to the station and found out that the track is only open too Bachstens Bush Camp, and it will still cost us $100 so we didn't go, Helga and I will do that trip to Willcott Inlet when we get the Cub Camper. For some info the $100 to the bush camp will equal $10 per km too put your 4wd in low, there is only 10km of rough track to Bachstens

After leaving Tunnel Creek we bypass Wynjana Gorge and camped next to a river near the turn off on Gibb River Road. The campsite was down a old washout track going to a level area above the river. The next morning Juey going out dropped the camper into the wash out on the track out breaking his spring hanger on the right hand side. Weighing up our options we decided that Juey and I go to Broome to buy a small caddy welder and leave Wayne and Helga back at the site to look after the camper and 100 series. I do not want to do that road again but I know I will (Derby to Broome). We bought a welder at Mitre 10 and headed back. Juey grabbed his HN6 for me to test and I wanted one.

We got back from the same trip last Friday, although we traveled opposite direction. We found the Drysdale to Mitchell Falls turnoff section of the Kalumburu Rd the worst.
The grader was there, but hadnt done much yet. Im glad I decided not to take camper.
Mitchell Falls rd very bad but we just slowed down a bit and got through no drama. Mate took his 100 series with Grandtreks on it, and we spent a lot of time plugging tyres each night.
I got one puncture in my BFGs just as we got onto the bitumen at El Questro.!!
Your pics are very similar to mine. Sounds like you enjoyed it as much as us.Cheers
