That would be great Don, would be good to see you guys again. I know it was late notice and I wasn't even sure if I'd have my car back from the mechanics either haha they were working on it till 5pm yesterday.

How was the trip?

We got up there about 2pm but only got to the second dune hill before coming across a ute stuck in a precarious position on the side of a dune. Wish I took photo's but it was quite serious at the time as the ute was about to roll and I was quite concerned for him and his vehicle. Was all good in the end as we got him out and down safely.
Away I trust you all had a great day. We packed it in about 4.30 as it started to cool down.

Oh man we must have been so close to you at the time. Tried calling you a couple of times but there were some Spanish people on the same channel too. Got some good photos and some vids. Will post soon as. Unpacking the car atm

No problem - look tantalising close to top on that 2nd run - after making it to the top on the "first" attempt heh heh ( one for the V6 )

These are returning late in the arvo, people still having a go up the track, compared to Aaron's post #21 when we were attempting , you can see how deeper it's got to the normal sand level....



And the track on the left is what Blake created/ fixed up and got over... (Not much of it in post #21)



So if I go there again - the left is known as "the Blake track"

Yep felt got a bit sunburnt as well - thanks again guys for the day and for the second rescue as well - hhhmmm now to add some spare tyre valves to the kit for next time

Yeah that was quite surprising. Never had to change a valve before so there's another first.
