Doing the Cape this year (2015) Leaving Townsville on 27th June. Just me and my family going. I was a bit worried about getting stuck along the way but from what I've read and seen on the net this road is busier than Stuart Hwy. One of the great thing about 4wding in Australia is there is always people willing to lend a hand.

Did the Cape last year with the Pradopoint crew and had an absolute blast, enough so that a few of us are heading back again in late July/ August for another taste of paradise, don't be afraid to stop us and say G'day if you see us...
              3 rigs -- 2 x 150's and a 120, i'll be in the Graphite 150 with "150MAD" plates towing a Drifta DOT trailer
              Safe travels folks

P.S I'm no super expert but im happy to give any advise or answer any questions if you haven't been up there and have any queries, just pop me a P.m

Hey all, I'll also be heading up (from brisbane) july/august for around 3 weeks. At this stage just my silver 120 and my mates black triton, both running roof top tents. Will be keeping an eye out for other ppers. Currently standard but slowly getting her all dressed up ready for the trip.
