Hi Guys, We're heading up to Fraser for another short trip 20-23 Jan. We've been plenty of times before so have most of the popular areas covered. We'll hit some of them again of course because they are just that good but we want to have a crack at getting out to Valley of the Giants for a look this time as we've never made it there yet. I've got the Hema maps on the ipad that work pretty well so I'm not worried about the directions but I'm after some track condition advice if anyone has done the trek out there recently. What the tracks are like and also which track they took in.
I've been searching online as well as google searching pradopoint and very few people seem to go in there by car. It's mentioned a bit as a hiker's camp but very little about driving there. From my map it basically looks like you can come at it from the north (Poyungan Valley) and circle down to it, or you can come at it from the south (Cornwells Break road or duck across from lake mackenzie).
Any advice from people who have been there recently (or even not so recently) about which track to take and what they are like would be appreciated and if anyone is on the island and wants to join up either on the 21st or 22nd Jan and come along, you're more than welcome to.
