Brisbane Tech Day - Masso's Place - 01 June 2008 (Sunday)

Hi All. I am putting the feelers out to see who in Brisbane wants to get together for a Tech Day. I have a few small mods that I want to complete, such as putting the holesaw through the side of the D4D and installing a Safari Snorkel.

I was hoping to do this on this coming Saturday, but would wait a little while if there were enough Pradopointers who want to get together and do some mods.

My brother is hopefully turning up as well. So if we are in luck, then he maybe able to knock up a set of sliders. If he gets them setup properly then he will make a few sets up for a good price. Will have to wait and see with this one.

Maybe even a BBQ and a few beers on the day would be good.

:idea: Leon - No mods - yet.
:idea: Hutch - Helping out.
:idea: McBain - Move antenna (Completed).
:idea: Metro09 - Helping out - maybe IPF spotties, a Uniden remote unit UHF and roof basket, under bonnet compressor, prado point sticker.
:idea: Matt - 5 minute Hilux Washer Jet Install (Completed)

No actual mods on the cards but would be keen to catch up and TALK mods on the day.

No restrictions on vehicle type. Would be good to see each others cars to see what other mods we each want to do.

I have got a good range of basic tools, but lack compressor and air tools. So if anyone who owns airtools wants to bring them along, or put their hand up to have it at their place, then I am all ears. Other than that, I can have it at my place in Kallangur North Brisbane and put the BBQ into action.

I love to catch up with you guys, only tech skill i would have is labouring.
When it comes to my baby i am happy to pay people. I do have an air compressor though.

Would come to all if I could. Pretty busy with work at the momment, And lots of OT going on and I need it to pay for everything that I want to do to my new toy.

Tell you what this stuff is highly contagious and the more I read and learn the more I seem to spend on my toy.

I'm keen, thought i just completed my first night time install in a few years so I don't have anything in particular i still need to do... but i could always find something that could do with some tidying!

Howdy all.

New to the forum - mine is on its way (with any luck I am told first week of July at the latest - just in time for the luxury car tax rise!)

So - if it is before delivery of the new beast I would love to come along to meet and chat (and help provide labour where I can!)

If it is after mine arrives I have to instal a set of IPF spotties, a Uniden remote unit UHF and roof basket (easy I know - but if there is an excuse for a few fellas to lift it on.......!)

No doubt some other little bits also! I also have a compressor, but next to no air tools.

edit: Also considering the under bonnet compressor - but would obviously be installing a prado point sticker!!!
