Looking forward to meeting you all on Saturday. Is the BBQ still a happening thing for lunch? Do I need to drag my own BBQ and gas bottle up on the day or do we have sufficient cooking power for the group?

My mate will probably also be coming along in his Landcruiser provided he ever gets around to asking his wife. :-)

    Cheers

ok count me (Michael), my wife (Jenni) - and 2 rug-rats - Daniel (4.3) and Nicholas (2.7). UHF16 is fine.

Im bringing a fancy-shmancy BBQ with a nearly full 9kg bottle. Who said, 4WD outings cant be both fun and filling? Should be good enough for nearly all of us.

I'll also bring some camera and video gear.

9:45am meet is a little early - given we are located South Adelaide hills.....It is a Prado remember - not a F1. We'll do our best to get there at that time nonetheless.

        Ok… UHF 16 it is

        So far we have:

Lofty, his wife and 2 kids
MickL, his wife and Harvey the dog
Mav, if his truck is ready
        Yorkes and his father
Gwatts21 and his friend (if his Mrs says OK  )
Mjforder, his wife and 2 kids
        PCM_120 and daughter

That makes 8 vehicles if all goes to plan.

        Paul.

Settled...now do we want to rationalise the number of BBQs and other things.....suggestion    :

          1. 1 or 2 BBQs (i bring ours plus someone brings theirs)
          2. everyone BYO meat and drinks and bread
          3. somone brings some salad to share
          4. someone brings some desert to share

I wish you all the best on the Inaugural SA PP GTG gentlemen. I'd love to tag along, but work rules the roost at the moment. Fingers crossed it's a success and I can tag along for the 2nd GTG

Mav, I hope all goes well with your Prado. As a fellow D4D owner, I'm keeping a very keen interest on your thread about the knackers injectors etc.

            Have fun :P

            Cheers,
            AJ

We are out for this trip, sorry everyone. The dealer failed to get the matter fixed due to Toyota not authorising the injector supplier to send the injectors.

The dealer has managed to find one injector to swap out for the worst of mine but they did not say it was a new injector. All they said is that it should get us back to Alice for us to have the injectors swapped out there.

The injector supplier also has no stock of the injectors due to a high demand for them from toyota dealerships across the country.

Mav - real sorry to hear that. Hopefully the replacement one will last for your trip back home.

Are you able to compromise and meet us just at Maccas? If it helps, you could mount the kerb on your way out and try to pretend that was a bit of serious flex off-road work.
