Over 50 listed SA PP'ers as well as those who have withheld there location on registering, not sure how many are active or still around the place.
Morgan sounds good to me but then I haven't been and can't really comment just happy to GTG and the 5th July is shaping up ok at the moment, I maybe solo as it looks like Mrs Yorkes will be away at a conference that week.
Sounds like Saturday July 5th is good with us, never been to Morgan but it sounds like fun.
Any one else bringing tin lids :?: Ours are 7 year old boy and 5 year old girl. If you dont have any you can probably borrow ours by about 9:30 am

I would have brought along a three squids, 8, 6 and 2, but I can't make it on a Saturday. Commitments with the kids.
I do actually have plans to head to Morgan some time soon with Whiteknight from the LCOOL forums so I find out what it's like then

Bugga, hopefully next time. Looking forward to meeting some PPers.
Good to see the SA PP'ers trying to sort something out. Unfortunately I'm working that weekend (the joys of being an erratic shift worker). I wish you all the best though.
Loveday was great fun when I was there, and I have heard a lot about Morgan, so which ever you chose, enjoy.
Have never heard of Peake though? Might have to check it out another time.
There is supposed to be another place a bit like Peake out towards a town called Geranium. I believe the place is a private property called Dorado Downs. Sounds a lot like Prado Downs so it should be good

I couldn't find much about Dorado Downs, seems to be private property and not open to the general public. Clubs only.
Anybody know anything more.
Looks good though, bit like the border track/Sunset NP, except no worries about vehicles coming the other way at the top of dunes....

I was talking to a fella at work today about it and he believes he has the contact details.
I actually went on a trip over the weekend with the same fella and a couple of others (on mountian bikes) along the Border Track (secon time this year). Great fun with some good old wet bogholes to play in at the southern end. Get there now before they dry up!
Depending on the date decided (is it 5th July?) then I will check with the Mrs and will hoepfully we will be able to come along. I will also be bringing a couple of tin lids (Girl 5 - Boy 3).
Geepers - been missing this one. Count me in (and i'll try to rally support from my pit crew (Mrs + 2 x boys 4 and 2.5) so long as i have a bit of notice. would prefer a return day trip if possible as am currently all over the place with work - Melb/Sydney/Canberra/Bris - oh, yeah - Adelaide as well.
p.s. now that i have some real tyres and ATS kit....about time to test them.....well, at least test my ability (0.5% REAL 4WD off road exp).

Ok - for us Southerners, that's a good 2-3 hrs away but nonetheless a good drive.
For those travelling there from Adelaide metro should probably all meet at a servo along the way, maybe on Main Nth near Gawler. Depending on timing, a 10am meet should be acceptable so another 1-1.5hrs will see us at the quarry.
Probably only thing left to do is get a list of names and phone numbers and a rough map of where the quarry is (assuming its where we are headed).
I say that - being a skiier, i will find it hard to resist getting distracted as morgan is one of my favourite spots for skiing!
