    ok....so i know jack about fishing and the Coorong....when we get together next w'end pls leave the trivial pursuit game behind!

    That said, i know a few good spots for water skiing!!!! The grassed area near the boat ramp at Morgan may have a BBQ - at very least its a relatively large spot for our younglins and 4-legged ones to go beserk.

    On that note, my 4 and 2yr olds generally dont mind dogs. Just as long as they arent "overly friendly"etc as they can get scared a bit....

      For those that are meeting us there, here is a ROUGH map of where we will be going.


      Click on the map to get a full size image

      Continue through Morgan towards the river (depending upon which direction you are coming from) and turn right down the road to the caravan park (red line on map). Head down this road a little... and you will find a track (could have been the oval car park) on the right that will skirt along the top end of an old oval. Proceed through the "car park" area and keeping leftish you will see a track that heads up a small hill. Following this track will put you into the 4x4 area. From here... we could be anywhere, but should be contactable on UHF or mobile...

        Great stuff Paul. I Google-Earthed it and saw the big yellow/brown/green smudge and thought "gee that must be it".



        For those joining the convey starting at maccas - we could meet at Morgan and also in convoy enter the area. Might even scare off a few pootrols along the way.

        Presumably, everyone...we will issue mobile numbers and agree UHF etc closer to the day? probably worth doing it at maccas and online especially for those not going via maccas.

          i now have (on loan from in-laws) a 9kg LPG bottle and portable BBQ to help out.

            Are there any SA PPers who would like to get together for a BBQ at our accommodation in Black Forest say on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday this week?

            We have a nice undercover BBQ area that we could use and we will put on some steaks & snags, you just bring your own drinks.

                  I can throw a rock from here to Black Forest... It's about 120 metres.. :lol:

                  Not sure how I will go as I am getting everything ready for this OS trip t end of week.

                  I also had news today of a 90 series blowing it front diff, Triton rolled over, and a 120 series hitting a tree at Morgan on the weekend!!

                          Well the offer is still open to anyone that can make it. I just checked the actual address and it is Clarence Gardens. Nice three bedroom house/duplex at 307 Cross Rd.

                          Nice under cover area and BBQ setup, 307 is right on the corner of Cross Rd and Clovelly St but Clovelly is blocked off after our place so we are the only ones in the street.

                                Aberfoyle Park - kinda on the way to Blackwood but with a few distractions near the top of the hill near Cherry Gdns so if u r confused - go work for a taxi mob as they all struggle to find the place and could use a hand or 56,987.

                                Then again...with 2 younglins, most likely scenario (now that im a responsible married old fart) - i'll meet everyone at Maccas. Try getting 2 hypo 's together (and a wife...) with cra*p in a car and headin off by 9am.....
