    CREB TRACK AND ROARING MEG FALLS.pics added.!!!

    This weekend myself ,Crammy and another mate are hitting the Creb track.....we are going to swag it over night at roaring meg falls... will be a wicked trip....all those interested are welcome.... just respond or flick us a PM......

      got all the permits today from EPA......looking very wet at the stage ...might get a bit hairy!!!!

        You'll have a blast - watch out for those motor bike tour groups

          Well after 5 days of rain and 5 inches at Daintree the night before we left things were going to be interesting!!!! :lol:

          we loaded up the rigs ,threw in the swags and off we went...

          this is the nice clean rigs at Daintree Village....


          next it was air down the tyres and into it....almost immediately we new what we were getting into..MUD...!!!







          there were plenty of river and creek crossings which to my surprise were very simple...




          then back into the rainforest and mud tracks....





          in the distance you can see the notorious BIG RED HILL!!!!

          I dont have any pics going up as i was busy sliping aroung during the climb , but the prados powered up no worries..it was loads of fun!!! :lol:

          the next bit was a wicked down hill section...

          then we were into it....








          from here there was still loads and mud and slip and slide action which brought us to Roaring Meg falls and then the Bloomfield falls...

          we followed the Bloomfield track then back to cape Tribulation and threw down the swags and about 10 beers and a snag on bread.....

                      Well the CREB track certainly was as good as we'd hoped especially with a few inches of rain the night before. It's a spectacular drive with some pretty challenging sections, and would be just about suicide doing this track in the rain! Most of the muddy sections were as greasy as hell with little to no control over the car in some situations. Nothing got damaged and we had an absolute ball!! 8)
