had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.
Well lads it is good to know you all got back safely, I would have hated to read the news tomorrow and read of 4wd group members injured. They say these things happen in 3's so first it was me, now you guys, so who will be next I wonder?
Anyway it was probably just bad luck that the weather was as bad as it was, you may have faired better if it was finer weather.
Looking forward to the video Samo.

What a day. Thankfully we had a previous engagement yesterday otherwise I was going to rock up in my 90 series. That was pretty damn tough going there.

It was hard going in some places. 4 had to winch up one very steep rutted and tree rooted rock face, two (me and les) made it up on our own steam. A few meters later Damo came to a stop in a big mud hole.. Big Fella will be pleased to know that we had plenty of pics of that. After a few more holes and a bit more snatching / winching we reached what was for the Prado's a dead end. A 1/25 incline, massive rocks and car swallowing ruts. We had to turn around and do everything we had just done in reverse.
It still amazes me that that everyone still remembers "that" photo of me . Damo, I just hope you had no water ingress into the car, looked really good though. That may be a new desktop piccie for me.
All in all glad no one was hurt, injured Prados can be fixed. Glad to see and hear everyone was help each other so much.
Regards,
Big Fella

If you can't fix it with a hammer...... you have an electrical problem.
i have just got home from work and have just sat down to check out the reports from yesterdays trip before i go out and start to clean recovery gear and the car. sure looks like we had i fun time yesterday. I was to shot when i got home last night so will download my camera and post some more photos later to night. at least i have got some one else to blame for most of the damage to my rig, it was the wife, as she had the wheel at the log crossing

thats a good pic.
shows that a prado can do this section without any problems here.
i would not like to get through bum crack. that was just nasty
That exit out of that creek changes quite a bit, looks like you got it on an easy day. I'm running a club trip around that area the end of December, anyone care to follow my zook in a Prado
we had quite a few cars that needed to be snatched up frm the creek, including an 80series(2")
But it looks like the prados did well considering their reputation.
