Re: TRIP REPORT : Flinders trip- April 2009

Really annoyed I missed the last day after seeing the photos. I drove to Pt Augusta only to find that the reason the wireless network wasn't working was because they swapped a 5V power supply for a 48V power supply when they rearranged the office. Easy mistake to make I guess.

    Cheers

Yeah, it's a shame you had to go. We had a ripper fire on the last night and it was an awesome camping spot.

Found out you can stay at the old Gladstone goal. I'm thinking of organising a "Family" over nighter up there later in the year. I think the wives and kids would get a kick out of it.

Might do a long weekend and include the Brendley Ranges and do a round trip. I'll keep you informed if you're interested.

I'll do a disc of the pics in hi res for you too. Just waiting to see what Andrew has.

Awesome trip report lads. I love the Flinders.

Some of the photos are phenomenal. I'm very jealous that I couldn't make the trip, but unfortunately working pays for the mods and the diesel to get me to these places, but it's also what dictates my time keeping me away. Fingers crossed with winter approaching I'll have a chance to get away and use the snorkel I've just had fitted  It's been so busy of late that I haven't even had time to log into PP!

        Well done fellas.

        Cheers,
        AJ

What a fabulous report on a trip. We are hoping to have a look at the Flinders Ranges in September this year and if I get pix anything like some of those, I will be very happy. I've even got the better half enthused from looking at the pix; how good is that?
