Even with the roof rack and towing the camper that seems extremely high.

Yes it does. I think a diesel/ fuel injector service might pay itself off after 2 days of driving....
Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

Ditto with the fish cleaning table. I once saw an old rusty ironing table on a beach near Cape Riche on the south coast and wondered "what the?" But now it all makes sense. Might need a few structural upgrades with fish like that though. 8)

              Talk about extreme ironing.......

Please disregard the fuel usage, my maths and brain functions were not working as well as they could have been.

We left home with 180lts in the tanks, and 4 20lt jerries.
Off we went, burning up the west coast, and put 100 lts in at the overlander roadhouse and turned west to the point.
At the point we put in the 4 jerries.
Thats where my calculations went south. might have had something to do with jim beam but I included them in the calculation and things got blurry.

Anyway, at that point (pun) I had a full tank, 180lts give or take. 4 empty jerries and 1000K give or take on the clock.
So really it was a perfect calculation of 1000K for 180lts... 18lts per 100K's.

                Still heavy but not outrageous.

                Jeff.
