Count us in. Thinking of going down Esperance way 20/21/22 Nov. Have a look at NP to east of there (Cape Arid). Might be lazy though and stay in Motel at Esperence, but if others are interested in camping might convince Lilly to give it a go.

Re: WA - It's getting warmer!!!

It depends on how much driving you want to do and how much time / space you want for a social GTG and kid's play.

I'm dying to get down and check out Staples Line (heading back into Harvey from Collie) and see what winter has done to what can be a pretty hard core track.

There's always the Dwellingup forrest - for something interesting but a little less challenging.

Then there's 40 odd k's of beach between White Hills and Myalup.

For northerners there's Lancelin or Wilbinga ...... or a trip up to the Mundaring Powerlines.

I've got OziExplorer track logs for them all and some pics and trip notes from previous trips if you want to see what you're getting into.

Otherwise pick up a copy of "4WD day trip out of Perth". There's 14 great trips in there with all the notes you'll need.

So ... NORTH, SOUTH or EAST (there's not a lot of 4WD'ing to be had if we head WEST  ) ?

....... SAND, ROCK or a combination of both ?

....... HARD, SOFT or in between ?

....... more DRIVING .... or more SOCIAL and KID time ?

More than happy to CHIP in and help setup a trip ...... just let me know what the group wants

                  Cheers

I don't think the Grandcraps would handle that Would be nice to try the lift though. Pam and I have heaps on between now and Christmas so we are only tentative for anything.
