Re: Sunday May 2nd: NSW: Colo Hts; Saturday Newnes SF
Sounds like you're going to have a big weekend Glenn
Unfortunately I'm out of town for work for this weekend and probably next weekend as well, otherwise I'd come along.
Have a good weekend, hopefully I'll be free for the next trip.
Jeff
P.S I had a word to George and those errors on the Meadow Flat Topo you found should be fixed for the next series (so about 10-15 years time  )

Shall we look at how it happened
After Glenn gets adventurous in the mud holes, he decides to choose the "Middle" track....or so he thought
We tried yelling out, but it was no use...he just SUNK
It was all over red rover, sunk up to the doors, Glenn proceeds to put on his "Water boots" (bare feet, rolled up jeans) and inspect!
With no other option left, and lots of spinning wheels, my snatch traps got covered in lots of dirt, water and mud. Im happy to say Toyota fitted the tow bar correctly and it didnt fall off when I snatched Glenn out!!
Finally, Glenn inspects the damage to his front bash plate

Another great day out Newnes on Saturday The weather was not too good on the way out to the Zig Zag but the rain stopped & it cleared up as the day went on. Time to air down.
It was then over to the slippery hill & the Wombat Holes.
Then across the road to the mudhole. These guys were there also having some fun.
After our trek to Beecroft track we then went out to Birds Rock with this dirt mound providing some fun.
Thanks to Ryan, Jim & Adam for coming along, it certainly was an entertaining day :!: Will definitely do it again but I'll try not drown my vehicle in the mudhole again

Well it was perfect weather for our day out on Sunday. Met up with Peter (Dobbo) at the Colo Hts. servo & we then drove up to the Womerah Range track. We followed the powerlines in the area for several k's & then turned north towards Wallaby Swamp. Traversed our usual tricky little hill climb with Pete almost losing traction on the rock step but just making it up
I bought one off ebay from a guy who obviously buys a few from Mektronics & resells them at an inflated price :!:
I later discovered I paid way too much  You should be able to buy the Panavise camera mount direct from the importers by the looks as you can buy from their website. There are a lot of cheap ones on ebay too but I don't know what the quality is like; the Panavise one I have has been excellent so far
