How about ourimbah glen? I'll be lifted by then so clearance shouldn't be an issue. You should come too Lyfe. A prado can always feel safer if in a convoy with a 6" patrol

Oooh yeah you'll have lift, so for a day trip that'd be a top choice!
I'm dreaming of something like this though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9S-Ax6Noqfcglen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90

yes indeed Lyfe...we have found a track or two we would like you to drive. Should be easy in the Monster PatrolOriginally posted by Lyfe View PostIts nice to be invited - especially since I'm not a Prado owner and more than up for a day out! This time maybe Glen will try to stay mobile for more than one climb...?
I put the Patrol on its side - ironically on a chicken track since I was on my own - two hills over from the substation on the zig zag. Fortunately, being patrol tough and having a winch, I dragged myself out with only some minor door creases and some plastic loss.
Hope to see you blokes soon

You must show us where you tipped the MP over!Cheers,
Glenn

I've been chattin to lockedup who posted this some time ago:

Looks like an interesting area. This shows a good overview (requires a 4x4earth account):

PS: Lyfe is out; apparently he has better offers at some over-populated place near Kosciusko.glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90

Some good tracks up there behind the nursing home, we went year before last with PP that was when my alternator shat itself on the V6, plenty of mud too. Take some water with you Declan incase you get some injested in the 95 series, they dont like mud but if lucky enough with a good flush out may come good again, mine did. You will be extremly happy with the lift when you get it, the handling will not be the same, no nose diving, wont bounce over speed bumps, and body roll will be minimal.....Regards SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. Hi there mastermanoj, normally if Williade posts up a trip there is generally no turning back for him, rail, hail, shine. I would imagine he will post a new thread pretty soon just for this up coming trip for this weekend. Should be a great day, no rain forcast so far but has been plenty up there so traction will be interesting especially in some of the areas we went. Spewing mine still not up and ready for off road fun yet, still recovering from bathroom reno's and bubs bedroom plus buying the 120 in the first place lol, thats life but heh !! Jeez I had plenty of $$ before marriage, house, morgage and children thingo lol, all worth it.............Regards SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. No mods yet
