  • The lift is in now. Gained about 60mm in the front and about 50mm in the rear. So as Steve said, there's no turning back now.

Hi Max, there will be something for sure, so if you're not in the snowy mountains, you're more than welcome to join us. The real dilemma though is, WHERE?

Ourimbah SF and Meryla SF have proposed. Maybe we need Julia find us a bit of consensus on the matter.

      Good show!

We shall go out this Sunday for sure....I'm hoping that Leigh will have the suspension, bullbar & winch fitted to his 150 but if not we'll go out anyway!!

Maybe just duck up to newnes sf unless you want to go elsewhere? Was thinking familiar territory might be best to test the new mods....but I'm easy lol!
      Cheers,

      • Good job Declan!

I'm keen for a drive but I need a destination with good reception and is quick to return from (incase I get THE call). Newnes is definitely out, the worst reception. I'd love Lidsdale but it's quite far. The best fit is definitely Ourimbah - excelent coverage and the shortest return trip. I'm happy to lead the drive but given no one else knows the area, you guy's will need a backup plan just incase I become unavailable.

        Is Saturday ok?

          • I'm fine with a Saturday trip. Not sure about every one else. Navigation in Ourimbah shouldn't be an issue if you have to leave early. Ozi explorer/google maps.

                • Declan,
In regards to backup, what I mean is if the baby pops on Friday you'll have no leader, so you might want a backup destination that you already know.

                  Lockedup,
I'd love to check out Meryla, but the reception looks hazy and it'll take a fair bit more time on the return trip. In a few weeks it won't be an issue

                  Here's another option:
Sat - I'll take a short run into Chapman Parade (Faulconbridge) with who-ever else is keen (Declan!).
Sun - The main trip to Ourimbah, or if I can't make it, backup destination is.................?

                  • Hmm.... 2 trips in 2 days. That could work. I'd be up for quick run in the Blue Mountains on Sat Glen. We could then make a run at Newnes or Colo Heights on Sunday the main trip.

                    Thoughts?

Or if Glenn isn't keen on Ourimbah (?), than we could go there on Sat.

I'm guessing Glenn would prefer one the usual destinations. So maybe we should make a day of it on Saturday. I need a new avatar
