Alright fellas, so the trip is tomorrow, but I'm going to have to rule out Jenolan/6foot/beef steak because it's well known to be very slippery in the wet. I'm not quite up for a mud fest and the cleanup that's required afterwards.
So where to go?
I haven't seen Ben Bullen S/F yet, which is just nearby the Newnes/Zig Zag playground.
Do either of you guys know Sunny Corner? That's another spot I haven't been to, but I bet it'd have some big river crossings right about now!
Kanangra Boyd N/P is high on my list but it's 3 hours to get to the region so would be more ideal for a camp trip.
Meet spot would be the usual spot at 8am/Richmond.glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90

yeah agreed about kanangra. i have the typical sunny corner track map, and yes their would be some big water crossings. when i did ben bullen with pp last year it was slightly wet but a good challange. Either way i am just keen for some 4x4ing.150 prado V6, yokies 32"s, bullbar, towbar, 2" lift, snorkel, diff breathers, e.r.p, winch, 14"s of lcd...hummm now what

Ok with Kanangra out, no matter what, we'll be heading to Lithgow. So book it in; 8am at Richmond Macca's.
Ben Bullen/Newnes - I have maps, no worries there.
Sunny Corner - Anyone know the place? I don't mind some water, but having a guide would help keep us out of trouble.glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90

Glen there are a number of trip reports from Ben Bullen & Sunny Corner State Forests over the last couple of years posted up on the forum, most should be up on the NSW Trip reports section although it appears it hasn't been updated for quite some time.
Steven did the Ben Bullen trip last October I think it was so he has some knowledge of the track; just go in opposite Blackfellows Hand Trail on the Wolgan Rd north of LidsdaleCheers,
