Newnes/Zig Zag is a good place to test out new mods like that. Maybe if you're lucky someone will get a trip going this month... I'm not available till the new year sometime.

        • Is any one keen for a run at Newnes or similar on Sat 7th of Jan 2012?

I think glen_ep is planning another hard core trip to Wheeny creek later in Jan so the 7th could be one of my last chances for an easy/medium grade trip with the Prado.

            • No worries Brad. The 21st or 22nd may be a better bet, but I (don't let me kill it for anyone else who wants to go) don't wont to commit to anything later than the 7th until I know when the Wheeny Creek rock crawling trip is. In any case a trip on both the 7th and the 21st/22nd may be possible.

Does that mean that you've bought the Patrol Declan??

                • Not yet Jeff. I've looked at a few GQ's and 80 series cruisers and even a 105 series cruiser. I'm leaning towards the 80 series.

                  • Okay, I say we ditch the 7th. Samo is planning a overnighter at Stockton that weekend.

I think the 21st or 22nd is a better bet. Any suggestions for the location? I'd be keen to revisit the Sunny corner to Capertee trek via Turon NP. We'd need someone to navigate though as I don't know the area well enough.

                        Hey Brad,
It's too early for me to confirm, but I might be free for one then. Keep an eye out on this thread in Jan.

                            • I'd be keen for a Turon trip. Haven't been since I was a kid with the old man.

Depends if I can get time off.
