    I think i scared you too much. The 1HD-FT 24valve is quite different with the 1HDT 12 valve before, also it was actually used on a 4wd trip with a big deep slope without problem. So I am positive it won't have that trouble again.

      The addiction is setting back in again!

      Anyone interested in a drive this weekend, probably Sat? Newnes again, but different tracks, including "The Pipeline" and "Nine Mile Steps". Both are difficult and require a traction aids (winch or lockers or traction control).

          None planned right now and with the current rain no one will be allowed in as it's managed tightly. 3 parties have their nose in it - mining, land owner and National Parks. I'll PM you more info.

              Yes, but he doesn't really own the land anymore, so there are "higher authorities" to keep happy.

                  We're going into the Watagans on Saturday for a drive and picnic with friends and their new to them prado, could combine our day only their 90 is stock so nothing knarly unfortunately.
                  We were going to camp at the pines but the forecast isn't too good esp for Sunday.

                    Agree that Saturday night and Sunday may be very good for camping but have fun anyway. Looks like a solo drive and time to do so some more exploring
