I went down "toyota alley" at Gunshot on the 25th of May... didnt look as bad as when u went

had to take my ute as the misses wouldnt let me take the Playdo.

Great right up and photos, Looking at going Sept '11, won't be as much water ('doh') but hopefully less crowds. Thanks Lindsay.

Awesome write up. Cape York is one of the definite to-do's once I accrue enough holidays... I noticed on one photo of your water crossings that the water rolled up the car to a point just below the snorkel inlet :shock:

We have a DSLR (nikon D90), Linda took most of the photos with a video camera in one hand, and the DSLR in the other set to Sports mode, so we have lots of photos before and after the really good ones!

Hi there, great pics. I noticed a young boy in the photo. We are (I am) full steam ahead in planning our family trip to the tip a tthe end of july 2012, my wife is starting to freak out about our 7yr old boy and 9yr old girl. Are they going to be safe, enjoy etc. I am doing my best to convince her so i suppose my question is. How did the boy or any other kids find it ?? Diud they tolerate it or really enjoy it. ?
Any pointers for the kids would be appreciated.

I went up there last year with my 2 year old girl she loved it . You just have to watch them I had to watch me boy as well he's 12
