Re: Mundaring Powerlines Saturday 8th Jan

Looks like an awesome run! I really need to get my UHF in so I can come along on these trips! Missing locking it into four-wheel drive, havent done it since my Hilux days!

Chippy, I could be up for that. As its Dwelly won't be a hard-core day will it? Still awaiting a lift on my chariot so I can get some rubber under-neath! Keep us posted!

Thanks to all the PPers for a great day out. I'll drop some photos in shortly.

My missus wasn't too cranky about the mud nor the two new scratches!

He's off working next weekend but how about a little run on Sunday 23rd Jan.

I'm thinking a nice gentle little play on the Fawcett Track in Dwellingup followed by lunch at the Quindanning Pub.

If there's any takers I'll start a new thread.

            Cheers

Get it out the way now, you'll feel so much better afterwards (after you cry a little of course) but then you can bash around the bush and have some fun and not have to worry too much about a little scratch here or there.

I just washed off all the mud and my left front flare and bullbar are looking a little worse for wear. Just another battle scar.

I noticed the Prado running a little warm on the trip back to Kal after the power line excursion. I washed the mud off today and then hosed the radiator and condenser to flush out all the gunk and was surprised at how much brown muck came out. Don't forget this area when you wash your beasties.

If you host the pictures in Photobucket you can use ootions in Photbucket to obscure in the number plates .

Fawcett Track is pretty tame. I've taken a few workmates through in X Trails, Outlanders and an old Scooby Doo.

Its more scenic, a bit of fun, and a chance to catch up.

                        Cheers
