            Hi 120GXV6.

Thats sounds like an awsome thing to do.

            Wish I was coming now.
I have been to Newnes, Before and after the pub was moved.
Thats right folks, they moved the pub. The only building there and the river was undermining it, so they moved it up the hill.
Top hospitality as well. well done.

            Jeff.
Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

                Hi

I am newbie. Never camp before but I have a tent! Hardly done any 4WD driving except getting stuck in stockon beach and then left the scene in 10mins......

Wanted to learn, so can I come?

                Alan
                Thanks

                  Hi Alan,

You are welcome to come along.

My recommendation is that if you aren't confident 4WDing, it would be wise to do a training course to gather your skills. They are very worthwhile.

                  Drew.

Thanks for letting me join. I have done trainning course with Vic Widman. Just never did it in real life scenario.
                    Thanks

Damn... a week late  I'll be down Sydney way next weekend... although I don't think the rental (Hyundai Getz) would really appreciate a day out in the Blue Mountains 8)

                          Enjoy the outing guys

                              G'day Matthew,

I am on late shift this coming week so a Friday night arrival doesn't look possible at this stage.

My daughter still has a creaky chest so I don't think my family will be coming along - after all the happenings lately we don't want to risk anything.

                              What is your planned itinerary?

Sorry I haven't been around on Pradopoint of late - I've had exams at college and been busy preparing for our daughter's first birthday party.

I'm looking forward to the meet up and having an explore,

                              Drew.

Chippy and family have arrived. They got here about 18:00 h yesterday and are snuggled up in my guest flat at the moment! Had to put a heater in there yesterday morning to warm it up to a temperature that they're more used to - outside temp here hasn't peaked above 10 degress for a few days now!

Other takers so far are - Drew, Mike, Brissy4me and PAL001.

We will be heading out into the Ben Bullen and Newnes State Forests tomorrow for some fun! Leaving my place at 09:30 - packed lunch required!

It has been lightly raining here since last Sunday, so the ground is quite soggy (tanks are full though!). Camping has been abandoned and the overnighters will be staying in various spare beds and caravans that I have.
