Well, a great day was had by all (I believe?) yesterday - Chippies (5), Drew, Mike (& son), PAL001 (& family), Brissy4me, my family & I, and a couple of Triton dual cabs (employees & friends of mine).

The weather held out (cold, but no rain) and we explored a variety of tracks which included some rocky sections and mud holes (which of course we all behaved ourselves while driving through ).

I am sure some photos will be posted by others shortly.

Mike & son stayed over with Chippies, with both departing around 10:00 Sunday morning.

Thanks to all who came - it was great to have a sensible and interesting bunch of people together with no heros or big heads!

Thanks for such a great day Matthew.

There are some truly wonderful scenery and some terrific four wheel driving to be had in the Mountains - it was great getting amongst it all with some great people.

Thanks again everyone for coming along, I'm sure we'll be on another adventure again soon.

I'll post some photos when I get a chance.

        Drew.

Had a great weekend with fellow Pradopoint members. Good weather, spectacular scenery, interesting tracks with enough challenges for everyone and excellent company. Plenty of mud too so fun was had by all. A special thankyou to Matthew for his organisation and his family's wonderful hospitality.

                          Drew & others,

It has had a couple of days to dry out, but my Prado made short work of the greasy rutted hill that we went down on Saturday. First gear low range - it just walked up!

I've modified the LHS side step to match the RHS (after the decent on Sat) and clipped the log with the rear bar! I love that rear bar

Many, many, many thanks to Matthew, Gabby, Claire and Austin for their hospitality and an awesome weekend. The weather cleared up, the 4 W Driving was spectacular and the company was even better.

Congratulations Matthew on organising a drive that had something in it for everyone - even a nice slick mud patch for a bit of WA farm boy circle work 8) - and some great challenging stuff for us newbies. Thanks for the lead - and thanks also to Brett and Lee for picking up us stragglers.

I'll post some of my pics once I sift through the hundred or so from the day.

                                Cheers
