Thanks everyone - it was great to meet all who came.

I already have some plans for my next trip, which won't be too far away!

And yes Mike, Lee was with me - we were coming back from a job and took the track that was blocked by Landthingies, which brought us back past the hill in question (along the main Lost City track). Lee was keen to go down the hill and see what it was like - then we decided to give the ascent a go.

        Hi guys

Sorry it's taken a little while to get the pics up but we had a few little bugs creep into the system. We are now back at home getting the car sorted before we decide where to go for the rest of my holidays.

This is Matthew's rig and as the sign says - "If you see it on this vehicle - we sell it!" - it is more than Amply prepared for the terrain, and with some of the places Matthew takes this rig (in work and play) - it needs to be. What an advertisement for the company. I'm already working on Bek for the Gunya awning and fold down table for the rear door.

This is the line up of suspects ...

        ... and here's a bum shot.

As part of the NSW handicapping system I was still fully loaded - 5 people, 110 L fridge, roof rack full of tables, chairs and assorted junk.

Great shot Bek ! Get your mind back on the job.

A first look at what turned out to be a very interesting track - there was something here for everyone.

Our host and guide - Matthews rig.

        PAL001.

        Drew.

        Brissy4me.

My bus - you should be able to recognise this shot by now

What the ?? How did a Triton get in here. This is Lee's bus. He's one of Matthew's crew, a great, knowledgeable guide and all round good bloke. He just needs someone to teach him to speak Australian

        This is Mike.

... and another bloody Triton. This one is Brett's two week old baby - and his missus is going to kill him if there's a mark on it. Brett is the lucky guy who gets to wash Matthew's car on Mondays.

        This is only the beginning.

        Cheers
        Chippy

This little set of 5 pics gives you some idea of the tight and winding tracks through this country. It's really hard to try and give some perspective to this type of shot but I think the in-car stuff frames it pretty well.

Drew found some mud - anybody surprised ?? Anybody ??

Ooops - what do you mean "We go down there ???"
Actually, this pic kind of reminds me of Matthew's driveway

A nice bit of loose rock on this descent.

Then the track opens up to ...

"Aaah Matthew - there doesn't appear to be any more track ?? "

End of the line - time to turn around and go back up !

Stay tuned - more to come.

          Cheers

A nice tricky descent - made it look easy.

Matthew shows the crew how to get down ...

... and now a shot from another angle. Kinda puts a different perspective on it - doesn't it.

Drew has a shot at going up.

The rear locker gets a bit of a workout.

              Nice articulation Drew.

              And then going down.

Just remember Brett - the missus said, "One scratch and it's castration !!!"

Thanks Matthew, for an awesome day out.

Thanks also to all the East Coast Pradopointers who came along for the day. I can now put faces to the names.

              Cheers
