I am rethinking the exhaust plate as it was going to be attached to the transfer case. This plate also needs to be easily removed to access the uni joints on the prop shaft. Extending the transmission plate in a cantilever fashion is not satisfactory as it will bend up and cause rattles with the exhaust. There doesn't seem to be a simple solution to this...
I'm using splined nutserts now.

Hey Andrew, does your latest batch of bash plates have the changes at the back at the cross member. You mentioned that you were looking at taking the rear section over and a little past the exhaust? and what was your solution to the nutserts?
