AMTS 120/150 Prado & FJ bash plates. SA made/supplied.

Finally fitted my plates up yesterday.
Very easy job, look great. Probably the only thing I would like to comment on is the fact the bolts supplied are 13mm (1/2") heads.
Other than that a dream to fit (On a hoist)

Picked up Gunnell's plates after work yesterday. Going into the powder coaters on Monday morning.


The rest are still at the platers. Not long to go now.

Am curious if your plates for the FJ will still fit up fine to an FJ with the ARB Deluxe Combo Bar.
I see Gunnell has them for his FJ, but not sure if he has plans for a bar though.

My plates replicate the 2 tapped holes on the factory bashplates. The plates on the ARB bar on wooley's Prado utilizes the same 2 tapped holes, so they meet up nicely on the 150. As for the FJ, I assume that ARB will be doing the same thing as the factory bashplates on the FJ are near identical to the 150.

Gunnell is putting Expedition One front and rear bars on his FJ.

Might have to build subframes to protect the exhaust. Not sure how doable this is at this stage.


It looks like the bashplates will all be powdercoated at the end of this week. Major apologies for the delay. I'll be contacting those on the list with the payment balance this week.

1. Yes they will fit with ARB bars. It meets up with the shrouds on both the 120 & 150.
2. Yes they are compatible with transfer case guards by Brains.
