I also measured the clearance of the bashplate and I got 250mm. This is with the suspension settings on normal height (Grande), 40mm lift at the front & rear and 265/70R17 Wrangler MTRs with 40psi in them. I then ran out of time to measure the factory bashplate.
I am now standardising the front plate so that it is common between the diesel, V6 and whether you wish to have a diff drop installed or not. The photo below with the <1mm clearance between the diff and the bashplate is the new standard plate. I am making cutouts to cater for the transmission cooler line brackets. This means that the ground clearance is the same for all Prado variants. The only variant now is the rear plate which needs to be longer for the diesels.
Cheer mate, As everyone else I am keen as mustard to see these on the breast of the beast!

According to my calculations you have 11 days left Mr amts, then production then call me. I will start counting my 5 cent pieces. As always, no rush, yesterday is fine.
Actually, would really love to fit them on or before 20 August if possible???Bitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money!

There are systems you can build in to the underside to wash out mud already. SeriouslyBitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money!

Guys, I had the pleasure of fitting prototype MkI to my manual 1kz last night. I am very impressed. Trust me, you guys will NOT be disappointed. I'm even thinking of changing priorities now to get in on the first order! The toyo plate is 1.2mm thick. AMTS plates are 3mm. The difference in strength is phenomenal...Diesel Prado with various things...
