AMTS 90/120/150 Tyre Carrier Spacer + Light Mount Option

I'm hoping to install a light and a UHF antenna on the quality amts bracket. I seen that the light cable is run through a bolt but can anyone please supply some pictures of where they have run a UHF cable. I'm happy to drill and use a grommet but not to sure on the best location.

Any help would be much appreciated

I would suggest ripping off the interior door trim to take a look. The rear door has secondary layers in certain areas. You do not want to drill into an area that is blocked by a secondary when feeding the cable through.

I would recommend using this type of cable gland to secure the cable


But before you do anything, make sure that you have enough cable length to do the run without any joints.

Thanks for that amts. I have already taken the rear door trim off and had a look but thought I would ask the question as someone may have been able to help. I do like your gland suggestion tho. Thanks again

I just fitted my tyre spacer. No more rubbing on the door and can actually reach behind the spare to wash the door now which I've never been able to do. Thank you Andrew for another quality product.

I wasn't happy with the aerial bracket so rethinking the design. An alternative is this one:

Hi Andrew, I'd like to add one of these tyre spacers for my 120 - I presume if I just order the spacer only, I can add the light pole and bracket etc later?

Gday,

Another happy AMTS customer here!
Went and collected the spacer and other goodies the other week.
Had a good chat with Andrew about his goods and some future projects of his.
The spacer fitted up no problems and quality parts.
Unfortunately it's revealed that some of the paint has worn away from the factory rear plastic tyre guard rubbing on the door
Just another job to look at.
