I just recently fitted one of Pauls guards to my 150 Altitude, the ground clearance would be almost identical between our two cars.
As long as your of normal size theres enough room to get under there and change the guard no problem. Just need a few tools.Geoff
Im not Bogged - I've just lost traction. . . . . and now I'm showing the wife why I bought those Maxtrax, and the tyre deflator, and the compressor, and the bullbar, and the winch, and a lot of other goodies I've hidden in the Prado

Even a couple of bits of wood under either the front or rear wheels would do the trick to give enough clearance to climb up the Prado.Originally posted by fido666 View PostThanks Paul but the petrol cost from Melbourne would be a killer LOL. Brains received my TG150, a well designed piece of engineering, I was most impressed. It will be another job to do on saturday. Thank you very much. The old man is a mechanic of 40 + years and has built many trailers and two clubman sports cars from scratch, he was very impressed with it and also brought one of his customers with a 120 to come and have a look at it, so we may need another!
cheers

Thanks for you comments, very appreciated when members appreciate the work that went into the concept, design and trialling, re design and then production. We have about 90 of these out there at the moment all over the country so I guess it is a bit humbling to get some great feedback. We still have stock so let me know if and when you require another one. Just have to check whether the 120 has the actuator or not. We also have the TG120 which is suitable for vehicles without the Actuator.
Regards

Just thought I would pop up a post that we have stock of both the TG150 and the TG120 if you are chasing one.
If you are wanting one before the end of year holidays if you could order in the next couple of weeks to guarantee delivery in time for any trips. As this time of year becomes quite hectic not only for our personal and work lives but Australia Post can tend to become quite inundated with deliveries.
Early orders will assist you receiving your guard before everything grinds to a halt for Christmas and the New Year.
Regards

To anyone else that wants one of the guards before the holidays we are down to the last 15 x TG150's and 10 x TG120's and probably won't get time to get anymore made this year probably pushing into late Jan, early Feb with close down periods.
Just send me a PM and organise payment for immediate delivery.
Thanks to all the members that have supported this little project and especially the guinea pigs we used to fit and check fit the different models. It's quite humbling and amazing to think that we have about 100 TG150's and 40 TG120's underneath Prado's and FJ Cruisers all over Australia.
We will still try and keep the costs around $150 for the TG150 for as long as we can. I was told the other day that the Browns Davis Transfer Case guard had gone up to around $400 from $365 so with our TG150 at less than half the cost of the Browns Davis we hope we are offering an more viable alternate option.
Regards
