I have had one of these floating around for a long time, seeing as I had the console apart again for the 50 millionth time doing some other work I thought I should do some preventative maintenance and fit it, piece of cake.

Just need to put everything else back together so I can drive the old girl and test it out

    Cheers Andrew

    Many thanks.

Lol good one Andrew. I should add that mine works a treat too. Much better than before

    Hi Andrew

Just fitted the new bullet, spring and washer. The photo instructions were easy to follow and the auto gear lever is working good as new. Would love to know where the old bullet went!!

    Cheers

    Jim

    Hi Andrew & All
Just fitted the new bullet and spring to the shift mechanism .
Happy to say that I can now select all gears with ease.
There was enough surplus white grease on the mechanism to lube the new pin and spring as well as a light coat on the shifter gate.!
This mod should be on everyones to do list-just like the Hilux washer jets.
    Well done and thanks AMTS

Thank goodness for this repair kit. I was not looking forward to the $1k replacement part. Not being able to lock into 4 whilst I'm towing my boat is not fun at all.
Hope you've got yours and fitted.
