I have received a reply finally from the manufacturer a couple of days ago that the lights are ready. So it will be around January when they will become available.

Sorry, I didn't see this while I was away on holidays. They are the DRL/parker/indicator version.

Yes, that's right. The smarts are all in the light. There are 4 wires coming out the back of the light:

DRL - wired to ignition source in the fuse box
Parker - to existing parkers
Indicator - to existing indicators
Ground - to existing ground behind headlight

Thanks mate, I guess that now means I'll be upgrading from the original replacement lights to the new replacement lights in a couple of months.
