What bullbar did you have fitted prior ?? I have the genuine Toyota Soverign bar and I know with this bar I need special recovery hooks due the bar and its design. If you didnt have a bullbar and just had the normal plastic bumper then these wont fit mine Regards Steve

Steve, he had no bar before. (Its in his thread). These should fit the genuine soverign bar. They are the same design i have on mine, and a lot of others on here. I have a soverign bar, and they fit fine.
      Cheers, Damo

How do they mount as my bar uses one of the holes that these would be used on, I wont get them under/behind the original toyota bullbar bracket and obviously wont go over unless there is some kind of spacer between these recovery hooks and my chassis rail to make up the gap/thickness of the bracket (hope this make sense lol) regards Steve

          Hi Steve,

As you will have seen, I didn't have a bar fitted before this one so can't comment on the Sovereign Bar but I have heard that others have fitted them using a spacer on the top hole.

Yeah over the bracket. Enlarge the top hole and reuse the bottom hole.

You can use a spacer to make up the gap. I didn't, but I mite look at pitting something in there. The gap didnt look to huge, although I haven't had much of a look since the new recall brackets went on.
            Cheers, Damo

there are some threads on recovery points that cover this. search and you may find them, or if you cant use google but add the word pradopoint in with the search. from memory people were using a large washer or similar to space it out

if these were closer to me and if they fit mine i would jump at them, my issue is a ecb nudge bar that not only uses the same bolts, bar the tubular section of the bar is in the way of the holes for the recovery section of the plates. i may have to look at fitting a custom set that "hangs" a little lower (or get a bullbar if i can win lotto)

Sorry, this thread has been moved to the sold section as they are sold! If you are asking a general question then they are 1.6kg and it costs $12 to post them.
