i have that sound on my 90 series with sloted and dimpled roters ( it is the air pasing between the pads and the groves or holes in the rotors)

thanks grimreaper, was hoping it wasn't just me. bit disappointed as is annoying but guess that's what you pay for cheap quality
guess if they wear out quick might be able to get some t2's or t3's

Not sure what 'cheap quality' has to do with it. RDA aren't cheap quality rotors. Cheaper than DBA, but so is every rotor.
Your factory rotors were cheap quality when you bought it

from my experience in the workshop bendix pads will give you brake shudder after 30000ks
so i always use QFM pads or ebc green or red stuff

No noise or shudder on a new set of Bendix 4x4 pads installed today. I'm just hoping there isn't much brake dust as they get used.

You won't get Dust either! Unlike some other brands.

My replacement vehicle has some pads with a blue backing plate. They are in the rear & squeal their asses off!
Dusty too, cheap sh!t! You know what I will be doing. The pads are on the bench :-)

What make Bendix Pads better than QFM ####?

Bendix are the best known name in brakes, why?
They have been around & manufacturing since the 50's, a lot longer than QFM (late 80's)
They have done a huge amount of o.e manufacturing. & a stupid amount of r&d goes with all this.
A huge range of their pads are manufactured in the ballarat plant.
I think thats why, They lead the way, noiseless, dustless, long lasting, innovating ideas, excellent customer service.
                          It's just a perfect product.

                          But I could be wrong.

I have run Bendix pads on a lot of vehicles and never had an issue. Will replace the 150 stuff with DBA and Bendix when the time comes.

I'm now running QFM pads which I am now happy with, not that I've had anything better to compare them to. There's always going to be a product with a claim that theirs is better. That's how I was sold the QFM's. I read some very positive reviews on QFM performance pads but did struggle to find any reviews/ comparo's on the 4wd range. I was led to believe the guys who started the QFM product were ex-Bendix developers who wanted to go their own way? Fact or sales guff I'm not sure....)
Anyhow that's the reason I asked as I was curious if there was something definitive that made them a less desirable option to the Bendix product other than just being cheaper.

Pretty sure you can buy carbon pads from the States Craig if spending too little worries you? They also make custom orders. I haven't heard of any problems with QFM for what it is worth.
