              Your travel , wheel size and that photo in your sig is the best I have seen on a playdo. Gets me more excited than most things I can think of including Kylie Mynogue. (I know I am in trouble with SWMBO for saying that, but such is life......) In an attempt to rescue my relationship I did say MOST things, SWMBO is NOT included.....

              • Just a question for the Xperts.........When on full lock in reverse i can hear a...........hmm mechanical type of sound from either the rear diff or maybe tailshaft.......hoping tailshaft and possibly a uni.............it's only a slight noise but it is there..........what should i be looking toward for an answer?

                  • Joined the Club on the week before easter, had travelled down from Brisbane and was starting in the Vic High country. Crossed the Murray at Tom Groggin, and was climbing Mt Pinnibar with the Camper trailer. Yes should not have been on this track. We were climbing really well until we came to a steep rutted wet clay section, and did not make it up. Reversed slowly down for further attempts but not successful. So hooked up mates troopy to the front and attempted to snatch us up. Too much wheel spin and wheels in rut and than bang as he snatched me forward. Took out the drive shaft and limped it the 15k back to the highway for a tow into Jindabyne and a replacement 2nd hand diff (apparently 25k kms on it) three days later back on the tracks again, this time picking which tracks to take the camper and which not. Found out Mt Pinnibar is apparently the highest drivable track in Australia at 1771m !!

                    • Here is the answer to the weak rear diff in Prados - replace with dana 60 . All pro do the kit with stronger axles too

                          • No, you'd have to ship yourself... wouldn't be cheap as shipping weight is 310lbs - would probably have to put on a slow boat rather than air freight. I believe these are about 150lbs heaver than the standard setup which would mean your handling would go to poo unless you changed your shocks and springs to heaver items.
