    Never seen it before, doubt I will again.
    Can't remember exactly, stripped it, there was not sufficient clearance between 1st & synchro or similar can't remember.
    So whatever gear I was in it was dragging 1st a little.
    Dumped the box & picked up one from the wreckers which worked out cheap.

    I note, that vehicle always had an unusual whine since I got it, I was always sus on it.
    With new box whine was gone. I'd say it was in the way out.

      Mine was definitely a gearbox issue.
      If you have a similar issue it will be more commonly the clutch.

      I'm digging up some old images

        gee not good, guessing you didnt have the car since new?

        Pretty sure mine is the clutch hydraulics. Started out with the easy stuff, fluid change helped - still not good, new clutch slave helped more - still not that great, next is the clutch master. Engages very close to the bottom of the pedal and is spongy even after new fluid, slave and bleed.

        Even from new it was a bit notchy into 2nd so I'm hoping its not the binding issue you had.
