LED Bar Fitted to an ARB Deluxe Bar - Pics wanted

MLC I've been thinking about a LED Bar option for my Sahara bar also. One thought was to utilize the slots in the front of the bar. It would be nice to fill in this entire area but unfortunately the winch brackets impede this area from doing this. The slot is just 40mm x 220mm, so a single row led bar would be required. Rigid Industries make a 38mm high bar of varying lengths with the 6" bar being the only one that would fit. They make a 9 led Driving light bar which pumps out 3060 lumen, so one each side would be nice.


A dodgy mock up would look something like this....

Oh, now that's an option. As long As it doesn't interfere with my winch.

I might run some tape down the centre of my third light. If its acceptable for a light bar it must be acceptable on the extra spotty

Have seen a hilux in my area where they have removed the hoop of the Sahara bar and a mob make a replacement hoop with the led bar built into the hoop flush mounted I will search for a pic

Newpro-Tech used to sell them. Not sure they're available anymore...

Not going to work Craig. I have a winch which means my plates of similar size to the one pictured sits along this hole.

Im looking at putting a small light bar between the IPF's on the lower side of my bar on the 150. Unfortunately it will mean the rod holder will have to go, but I have that on wing nuts anyway so it is easy enought to put back on.

Now I'm no lawyer, but wouldn't adding a light bar actually then make your light setup legal MLC

3 IPF + 1 LED Lightbar = 4 lights total = 2 pairs.

The law doesn't say the pairs of lights have to each be the same light does it?

Madkore, pretty sure the law says something about having to be either side of the centre or something deep and meaningful to that effect.
