    • Yep, sounds just like her  Mine still hasn't worked that she has had to lift her bum 2 inches more to climb into the seat, or maybe she's just beyond asking questions about my obsessions

        • Hi All, the following web page explains the Fat Boy globes pretty well. I must say that the latest in the line is quite the Fat Boy.

          http://www.sigmaautomotive.com/lighting/ipf_halogen.php

Can I ask of the folks that are not seeing good results what the code is on the side of the case the globes came in? What I would like to know is which code you have ie XX51, XX52, XX55, XX41, XX42 or XX45?

          Cheers

            • Mine are XX52 also. I can't say that I've done enough driving at night to form an opinion of them as yet.

                • In reading the info on the link that Mav posted, it mentions that the bulbs not be used with double plastic lenses. Do I take this as being not to use the headlight protectors over the lights?
What are you other guys doing?

                    They're the ones I have - H4 9003 IPF Low Beam X4 4600k 4X42 145/185W.

Far better than the standard bulbs but I must admit I did expect a better performance from them. Maybe my expectations are a little too high. The colour is fantastic but I expected a bit more light throw from them.

                    • I don't have headlight protectors so I cannot say if they affect anything.

I am tempted to get these and try them out, but my XX52 fatboys do a great job as it is. Might have to think about this for a while.

                        • Maybe we should start a bulb swap club, so that we don't have to fork out $140.00 each time we want to try a new light

                          • Ok, received the bulbs today. Just installed on the camry (X45 125/165w). The low beam is much better with a tinge of blue. Maybe tomorrow I'll install the x55 (145/185w) on the Prado.

In hindsight I would recommend the 3200k fatboys which gives a clear white output of 150/190w.
                            Cheers,

                            • Installed the x55's - light output (145/185w). Went for a drive last night, happy with the changeover. Now to get the parking lights changed, thought I had seen some LED's on ebay.

Do any of you know what would be a good replacement parking bulbs?
                              Cheers,
