Having just finished the installation of my TP09X1 unit, I find that the indicators and hazard lights are not functioning correctly.
Indicating LEFT the indicators work normally.
Indicating RIGHT, I only get one blink.
Also the Hazard button is causing the indicators to only flash once.
No doubt I have bumped something while routing cables, but I have no idea what.
Can anyone help?
Thanks. Paul
SOLVED - the problem was due to the wiring of the reverse camera. I tapped the reverse lamp wire at the driver side rear lamp cluster to provide camera power plus switching at the head unit. There is a ground wire paired with the camera power lead. I had that wire tapped into what I thought was a ground wire at the lamp cluster, but which was evidently not. Once I disconnected the camera ground wire from the lamp cluster, the Driver side indicator and Hazards work normally. Moreover, the reverse camera still operates - I assume it is just connecting ground through the coaxial cable shield.
