here in New Zealand we have been getting the grande type Optitron dash gauges as standard on the VX since 2003 so i think you should.

        Dash

I have just read through the Advanced product information and it does not mention any change to the dash so I presume not.

              Hello Everyone.

I have read most posts now on this forum at least once and am glad to be a member of such a friendly helpful bunch of people.

I found this on the net and it appears to show us the new steering wheel controls for the Prado. As I am currently waiting on an August? build D4d I have been watching this thread with interest.

              Go Salesgirl! Fantastic perspective.

By the way. When you load the above page.

Go to Front View down the bottom to view the steering wheel.

                    Seat Heating

Sorry to tell you I don't think the Aussie version has heated seats you may just have to warm your butt up another way

I suspect you are correct, the faux woodfinish on the steering wheel will be in VX and Grande, although I believe it is going to be a blackwood or some such

I have been advised by my dealer today (not local) that August build Prado's are now looking more like October build Prado's. Ordered mine on 19th June.

At this stage there are no real guarantees for a delivery date in November.

I am now looking at a 2 year old 4.2l Sahara as we leave in October. It's 70k, in very good condition (67000kms), director's wife's car. Will make it even easier to tow the 20ft van.

                            Whadddya think?

I must admit to having similar kinds of feelings myself.

However, you may find that you regret being stuck with an "old" model for the years to come - especially when the new Cruiser is released.

Guess it depends on your own tastes and personality really.

I do have a lot of time for Landcruisers though, as I do find the Prado interior simply too small with 4 kids and all their stuff.

                                Thanks Grandeman,

I agree would not mind the extra space either.

Not worried about November (September Build) release 200 Series. I like the car and it will do everything we need. I think its a good price for a car worth over 95k on road 2 years ago.

Just would have loved a D4d!
