    • New leaf springs in the camper trailer. Broke a rebound plate in Tassie and the old springs had been re-set a couple of times so opted for new ones. $200 - can't complain about that. All ready for the next off-road adventure.

            Nice freshen up Dave.
Where did you source your springs?
Our local spring workshttp://www.industrialsprings.com.au/index.htm shuts up for good 24/3/2016, and are no longer taking on any more resetting work.
I would like to get a little more clearance between the axle and chassis without having to alter the canvas drop from the bed- base to the floor.
            Cheers

                  • Purchased a 5w hand held UHF at a discount from Dick Smith just to help out their creditors. Sits nice in the glove box. Saved about $24 on best online price.

Yes, they do some nice independent kits. Shocks or airbags, very nice.

                        • Well 2 Weekends ago I managed to organise a last hurrah trip to Landcruiser park. Tackled some pretty tough tracks even secured myself a souvenir as they have plans to rename all the tracks i figured i was doing them a favor by taking the old sign down.

video of camp road coming soon.

unfortunately in this last image, if you look closely you can see I managed to damage my drivers door, guard and flair. LCMP was very dry and had a layer of fine dust over everything so as I came up the rise I slipped towards the drivers side and rested on the snorkel and door.

Taken with permission of LCMP of course.... (I hope)
