Don't need a permit everywhere, depends on local councils. Some beaches also have prohibitions due to environmental concerns like Mon Repos near Bundaberg. My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

Vacuumed the beach sand out after another beautiful sunset BBQ followed by a nice fire on Cable Beach last night. What were the rest of you doing? Oh, that's right, freezing your little bits off.Dave

Not even enough to make a cup of tea at nolans, then I drove a kilometre up the track, took the wrong chicken track and ended up to the base of the seats in muddy stinky water! Half my luck, carpets will be replaced upon return to vic!!Originally posted by Anth120playdo View PostMAD! Internal bath as well?

Spend two hours using the Karcher to clean out the mud from the forests near Gympie and the sand from the run down the beach from Rainbow Beach to Noosa North Shore.

Did you come across the Pradopoint guys going up to the cape? They must be somewhere around southern OTT now and were going through Nolans.Originally posted by PR4DO View PostGave mine a bath at Nolans brook. The old telegraph track backwards, north to south!! Very deep after three weeks if rain. Apologies for the poor photo, it's a screen shot of the video which won't upload!Last edited by gumboot; 30-06-2014, 05:38 PM.[B]Robert

We took the middle exit/entry, there was a left (heading north) that was heaps deeper (5ft) and also a right that was slot shallower but had ruts that my IFS would not have passed. All in all a wicked adventure for everyone's list.Originally posted by Corigator View PostPR4DO
I assume you took the left hand exit.
Even though the right hand rout is longer, I think its usually a much safer way to go.
