Drives much smoother now, hardly notice shift changes, and changes when it should. All up cost about $185.00 including buying a Tom Thumb pump to refill easily. Old fluid was black as coke and a bit of a burnt smell. Car has done 215k but not sure if it has been done previously as I bought it at 200k, I suspect not. Used 12 ltrs Penrite ATF LV, was coming thru nice and clean by the time the last litre went in
Hey mate don't suppose you can PM me the steps and parts/tools you used so i can order them.

But the exhaust didn't come with a dump pipe to turbo gasket, however it had gaskets for all other joints. You should be able to reuse the original, i also had all joints done with Permatex Muffler & Tailpipe Sealer to make sure it never leaked. He got access to the turbo bolts from underneath, it was soaked with WD overnight and one bolt still rounded and had to be cut off. So make sure you use a good 6 point socket and not a 12 point, and soak all nuts as much as you can. If don't have access to a hoist, you could try getting access from underneath first but you may have to go in through the arch if all else fails.
Cheers for the advice I really appreciate it, I do have access to a hoist and you make good point about what type of socket I should use. I will soak the bolts with some Rustoff and Penetrine, and I will also get some Permatex as well.

well, I think my 10 blade fan is working well.

My first hard push on the sand since owning it.
    Outside temp was 22
Normal running temp for my car is 86-88

I was on soft sand, A/C on, 4 adults, low range 1 , 2 nd gear, revving at 3000rpm. Engine temp stayed at 86

Don't worry too much about the rear toe in being a little different, just means your diff is pointing slightly to the left.
Not enough to worry about and you can't adjust it anyway.
it is a bit unstable but ive gotten used to it, plus ive forgotten how a standard 120 handles so eh lol. as for the rear, maybe an adjustable panhard rod could help or even trailing arms?

How one does the rear look to you guys? I don't think that left to right differences look right...
