Would like to add that after the recent heatwaves in Adelaide, my dash has a crack that runs from the right hand side aircon vent, and up and around the speedo. It is mostly hidden by my steering wheel at this point in time, but I know it's only a matter of time before this spreads.
It wasn't there when I purchased the vehicle (about 6 months ago from Jarvis).
2004 Prado GXL.
EDIT: Trims are not covered under any warranties offered by Jarvis. I knew this would be the case, but figured I would ask them.Last edited by Terrorbyte; 07-04-2014, 09:56 PM.

Well, I thought I was doing well having a 2004 Grande (180k) with no cracks.
Spotted the start of one above the vent to the left of the sat nav yesterday :-(
Only small so far (about 5mm long), and the only one I can find even lifting the dash mat, but I'm guessing now it's started it's only going to get worse.....2004 Grande V6 4.0, ARB colour coded bar, Magnum 9k winch, dual battery, HD King springs/Bilstein F4-BE5-A712-MO (front), Airbag Man extended airbags/OME Sport 150R shocks (rear), OziOffroad diff drop, BFG KM2s, Hella 225s, ARB CKMA12 compressor, Rhino-Rack HD bars x3/alloy tray, Sunseeker II awning, Prodigy, TX3340, cargo barrier, 50L water tank with 12v pump, rear storage system, Waeco 60L with slide, rear door table, rear camp light.

I have the same problem and am sure mine is worse of. The dash sustained very awful cracks all over starting from the instrument panel area, around the player to the passenger side. Its so bad and I dont know if Toyota has in stock for us to purchase. Am wandering how repair could be carried out on that extent.
I need advice please.
