There also was a crack under second batterry tray (and I got piranha battery tray). All fixed now and it's probably one of the cheapest repairs I have ever done

How cheap? and how did this happen?

150 bucks mates rates from Body Repair shop.

Pushed a car a bit hard in the Simpson desert last year (hitting dunes while towing CT).
Had a small crack on outer edge of the fender by the time we got home. The cracks slowly grew over the next 6-8 months while driving on normal sealed roads...

Re: The things you had to fix on your Prado

2003 GXL Petrol auto - 190,000 Km - never really had an easy life.

They're in no particular order - other than my failing memory

 Left front wheel bearing - filled with mud
 Replaced front bash plate with custom 3mm steel item - too many hits
 assorted panel beating to bash plates and tank guards - many more hits
 replaced rear tank guard after tearing one side mount off - another hit
 4 sets of idler pulleys - they don't like mud - replaced under warranty
 replaced aircon compressor - filled with mud - under warranty
 replaced starter motor - filled it with mud
 replaced all brake rotors, pads and shoes - stops much better now
 multiple handbrake cable and shoe adjustments - also assists staying stopped
 replaced transfer case seal - allergic to mud
 reconditioned left front brake caliper - also allergic to mud
 replaced front inner stub axle seals - another mud allergy
 replaced one windscreen - due to flying stones (not mud)
 Tailshaft thump issue. Greased under warranty.
 replaced the winch - filled the old one with mud
 replaced the standard side steps with steel ones - too many contacts with the planet surface
 replaced the phone antenna - after contact with a tree

In reading this list back there seems to be a common theme

        Cheers

Stuff Tojo and I have fixed

Annoying rattle 1 - wiring loom 'buzzing' at 1250rpm (runs along the drivers side - inside of guard). After 3 years of Tojo looking and never finding it, even after I 'showed' them the noise. :? adn they took a cap nut off and put a through nut on the inner guard attachment bolt (buggering up the paint along the way)
Annoying rattle 2 - clips for pass side inner guard loose
Annoying rattle 3 - loose plug where drivers side headlamp screws in (on top of guard)
Rewired trailer plug 1 - after incorreclty loomed up on delivery!
Rewired trailer plug 2 - after ripping it off through a creek! ops:
Brakes Pt 1 - remachined at 35K as running me off the road (warrantee)
Brakes Pt 2 - remachined for $72 as running me ragged (part warrantee)
                              Steering wheel failing surface (warrantee)
Driveer sun visor (velcro and rubber shims not working) (warrantee)
Pulled Heater/ air / fan assy out of dash as it was raining inside the passenger footwell. Had not cleaned the outflow pipe (little black rubber pipe runs out throug the fire wall). Fault as I had a cabin filter fitted and Tojo had 'Fully cleaned' the internals of the HVAC plenum and associated system some 20K, of clean driving, prior to "rain" event. Comment from Tojo 'Oh, we can fit a cabin filter to prevent that from recurring.'

Apart from this just the usual lube, tyres and cleaning.

It seems I have had a pretty easy run but only 115K on clock to date.
