The Grande OE bumpstops are already significantly longer than rear coil sprung Prados to compensate for the shorter travel and longer compressed length of the OE Grande TEMS shock. With the spacers in place and suspension compressed to bumpstop, the airbags are not over compressed.

    Hi amts,
I have not read this whole thred, (it's long) but I have a set of your spacers (nice idea) here to fit to a Prado.
The query I have is, wouldn't that also require a 50mm bump stop spacer?
Or do you think it can flex to the stops without damaging the bags at all?
I assume these have already been well tested?

Usually whatever suspension/spring spacer you use you would increase the bump stops by the same amount to help prevent damage.

Still getting used to the new HD springs - the ride isn't as plush as the old set-up - I think the wife will have something to say about that!!
If anyone needs to borrow a SST, please let me know - happy to lend out.
    Bruce.
No worries Bruce. Sounds like a great buildup!

Let me know if I'm holding progress Andrew, been bit busy lately.
No not holding up progress. The last few that I have sent needed their own SST.

The spare parts guy did a check when I picked up the last lot of SSTs and said that there are now 28 SSTs left in Melbourne. He reckons that I have started a trend.
